Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Old-fashioned rolled oats - Base
  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy) - Base
  • 1 piece Ripe banana - Natural sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract - Base
  • 1 pinch Salt - Base
  • 1–2 tablespoons Maple syrup or honey - Optional sweetener
  • 1–2 pieces Dates (pitted) - Optional sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon - Flavor booster
  • ½ cup Frozen berries - Flavor booster
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut butter or almond butter - Flavor booster
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder - For chocolate version
  • 1 scoop Protein powder - Optional add-in
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt - Optional add-in
  • 1 teaspoon Chia seeds - Optional add-in
  • 1 teaspoon Ground flaxseed - Optional add-in

Equipment

  • 1 Regular blender (Any standard blender works)
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 2 Tall glasses (For serving)
  • 1 Rubber spatula (To scrape down sides)

Method
 

  1. Add oats, milk, banana, vanilla, and salt to blender.
  2. Add chosen flavor boosters (berries, nut butter, cinnamon, etc.) and sweetener if desired.
  3. Let mixture sit in blender for 3 minutes before blending (optional, for creamier texture).
  4. Blend on high 60–90 seconds until smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency with more liquid (if too thick) or oats (if too thin).
  5. Pour into tall glass. Top with fruit, nuts, or cinnamon. Best enjoyed immediately while frothy.
