Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats adds texture and fiber
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips use dairy-free if preferred
  • cup chocolate protein powder choose your favorite flavor
  • ½ cup peanut butter I like to do a heaping ½ cup for a richer taste
  • 3 tablespoons honey acts as a natural sweetener
  • 3 teaspoons water helps bind the mixture together

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Use a spoon or spatula to thoroughly mix everything together. If the mixture feels too dry, add another teaspoon or two of water to reach a dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls that are 1 to 1½ inches in size.
  4. Place the protein balls onto a baking sheet or plate lined with wax paper.
  5. Put the plate in the fridge and chill the balls for 20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes, transfer the chilled balls into an airtight container and store in the fridge or freezer for later enjoyment.
