Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 2 tubes Refrigerated cinnamon roll dough - e.g., Pillsbury Grands
  • As needed drops Blue food coloring - Gel preferred
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour - For dusting surface
  • 8 Oreo cookies - Whole, for stuffing

For the Cookie Magic

  • 6 Oreo cookies - Crushed
  • cup Mini chocolate chips - Optional but delicious
  • 2 tablespoon Butter - Melted, for brushing

For the Blue Frosting

  • 4 oz Cream cheese - Softened
  • 3 tablespoon Butter - Softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar - Adjust to taste
  • As needed drops Blue food coloring - For desired color
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract - Optional

Optional Toppings

  • 12 Candy eyes - 1 pair per roll
  • 3 Oreo cookies - Crushed, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoon White chocolate chips - Optional

Instructions

  • Open cinnamon rolls and unroll each one carefully on a floured surface. Add a small amount of blue food coloring and knead until evenly blue (wear gloves!).
  • Crush half the Oreos and sprinkle over blue dough. Add a few whole Oreos on top and press gently into dough.
  • Roll up the dough loosely and place rolls into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Brush tops with melted butter and bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
  • Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar, vanilla, and blue coloring. Adjust for sweetness and vibrancy.
  • Spread blue frosting over warm rolls. Add candy eyes and sprinkle with crushed cookies and optional white chocolate chips.
  • Best served warm. For extra magic, pair with a glass of cold milk!
