Toast Pecans:
- Heat skillet over medium heat
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter
- Add pecans and salt
- Toast 5-7 minutes until golden
- Cool completely
Make Dough:
- Cream butter and sugars (3-4 minutes)
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Mix in dry ingredients
- Fold in cooled pecans
Bake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Scoop 2-tablespoon portions
- Space 2 inches apart
- Bake 11-13 minutes
- Cool 5 minutes on sheet
