Toasted Pecans:
- 1½ cups pecans chopped
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Cookie Dough:
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Toast Pecans:
Heat skillet over medium heat
Melt 2 tablespoons butter
Add pecans and salt
Toast 5-7 minutes until golden
Cool completely
- Store up to 5 days in airtight container
- Freezes well for 3 months
- Dough can be chilled 3 days
