Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rainbow jimmies sprinkles
  • Optional: ¼ cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in sprinkles gently.
  7. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions onto prepared sheets, 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
