Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs or 11 graham cracker sheets crushed into crumbs using a food processor
  • 2 tablespoons sugar granulated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar packed
  • 7 tablespoons butter melted

Method

  1. Place the graham crackers in a food processor and pulse until finely ground into crumbs.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the melted butter to the crumb mixture and use a fork to mix until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a pie or springform pan. Use the bottom of a measuring cup to press the crumbs firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the pan. Press with fingers for additional packing.
  5. If you're baking the crust, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-13 minutes, then allow to cool before filling.
  6. For no-bake recipes, refrigerate or freeze the crust for 10-20 minutes before filling.
