- In a bowl, mix peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Set aside.
- Whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Take 1 tablespoon of each dough, press together, twist gently to marble, and roll into a ball.
- Arrange cookies on parchment-lined sheet, spaced 2 inches apart. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers soft.
- Let cookies rest on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
