Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour both cans of strawberry pie filling into the baking dish. Spread evenly using a spatula.
  • Cut softened cream cheese into ½-inch cubes and distribute evenly over the strawberry layer. (Optional: Mix with sugar before adding.)
  • Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese and strawberry layers. Press down gently for better absorption.
  • Melt ½ cup butter and drizzle evenly over the dry cake mix. Make sure all areas are covered.
